The Filmpark Babelsberg is an amusement park of a special kind near Berlin – with over 20 film-themed attractions!<\/p>\n\n
You can explore a variety of scenes during your visit – from the “Western town” to the “Street of the giants” to the “Gardens of little Muck” or the witch’s house from “Hansel and Gretel” there is something for everyone!<\/p>\n\n
Three different tours offer you insights into the film business: In the Caligari Hall you can learn, on a guided 30-min. tour, a lot of interesting things about film sets and props. On the outdoor tour you will visit various major props for Babelsberg film productions (e.g. the newspaper kiosk from “Sonnenallee”, exhibits from “The Monuments Men”, etc.). Or you can look at the filmic face of Potsdam as an installation with information about Potsdam filmmakers.<\/p>\n\n
We recommend the Jim Button adventure playground or the 4D action cinema as special attractions. And for the sleepyheads among you, there is the “Sandmann-Haus” with exhibitions on the first “Sandmann” cinema film, a photo point and the extra department store.<\/p>\n\n
If you get hungry after so much action, you will find 7 different ways to fill up and recharge your batteries: From the “Tiger Duck” restaurant to the “Hudson Bay Western Grill” or the adventure restaurant “Prinz Eisenherz” to the “Sweet Dreams Cafe”.<\/p>\n\n
In addition to the 30-minute shows (stunt show, animal training and western show), you can also take part in a TV show or shop in one of the 4 themed shops and get souvenirs for your unforgettable day.<\/p>\n\n
